Welcome to the family!
When my mother Irene started McKechnie School of Dance in 1961, little did she know that her School would go on to win awards at the Scottish British and World Championships and create a legacy of dance and performance opportunities that would last forever!
Today, McKechnie still is very much a family School, and together with my mother Irene, and our amazing team, we are still delivering outstanding dance and performance opportunities for our young dancers, while changing and adapting to the needs of today’s diverse and challenging Industry.
We offer classes in Classical Ballet, Highland, Scottish National, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Commercial, Musical Theatre & Singing. As a stand out from other schools, we are proud to advise that we have:-
No joining fee
No registration fee
No club or membership fee
Students can take part in RAD, SDTA & BATD exams and enjoy performing in our annual dance show at Falkirk Town Hall.
